Officially launched in 2019, Isla Renovations is a family-owned and operated business providing home renovation and handyman services in Long Island, New York. Jamie Sanchez is our lead guy and he has been in this industry for over 15+ years. When he was about 15 years old, Jamie started working with his father in the trade doing all sorts of ‘handyman’ work and had a natural ability to transform things with his hands. His passion for construction was born then and his experience in this field has been a true labor of love.
The name ‘Isla’ (pronounced ees-la) has a personal connection to our company owner Jamie and his wife, Marie. Each letter in the name honors the cities in Puerto Rico and the Philippines where their families are from. Family is the foundation in which our company was built.
From conception to completion, Jamie works very closely with each customer to ensure they are not just happy with the service we provided them, but most importantly, they are proud of the work we are leaving behind in their homes. Whether you are looking to renovate an entire room or floor in your house or you just need minor repairs here and there, we can guarantee that each job is given the same attention to detail no matter how big or small it is.
